First Call for the ICUK Collaboration Development Fund

Applications are now invited for the first call to the ICUK Collaboration Development Fund for proposals falling within ICUK's remit.

The ICUK Collaboration Development Fund aims to support staff exchange, feasibility studies, proof-of-concept research and joint commercial research and development projects. Scientists from partner institutions and their Chinese collaborators, with the help of ICUK embedded project managers will jointly identify market-led research and development opportunities and make applications to the ICUK Collaboration Development Fund. Research and development to be carried out in China will also be funded by Chinese Ministry of Science Technology.

ICUK has at its centre 3 million in Collaboration Development Fund which will be available. It is expected that grants awarded through the Fund will be typically in the range of 15,000 -90,000 over 9 to 12 months.
